As the Lenten season comes to a close, we look forward to the joyous celebration of Easter. After six weeks of hearing about all the sufferings our Savior Jesus Christ went through because of all the sins mankind did against God’s 10 Commandments, we now put our thoughts on Jesus’ glorious resurrection on Easter morning. Jesus had completed his heavenly Father’s will to be the sacrifice on the cross and with his triumphant loud statement, “It is finished” the wages of our sin was paid in full. He was laid in the grave, but death could not hold him for long. Our heavenly Father was satisfied and accepted that work of salvation and raised Jesus early on the third day.
Now Jesus says to us, “Because I live, you too will live. Death has no hold on us. We too will rise from our graves on that last day to be reunited with our sour (our life) into a glorified, a perfect body and be with our Savior along with all those who have died in the faith in God’s heavenly kingdom forever.
Come and hear more of this “Good news” every Sunday so that your faith can become stronger. God’s blessings on you. “He is risen, he is risen indeed. Amen.
